By their very nature timber buildings are susceptible to decay from the elements and sadly from changes throughout the years from uneducated but well meaning owners.
Many timber buildings will have suffered some form of decay or damage, we are able to carry out a survey and provide a condition report detailing any remedial work that may be required, suggested specifications and likely costs.
This type of survey would often be carried out by a potential purchaser before committing to a new purchase but is also often carried out by existing home owners before embarking on renovation or extension works and in some cases following serious damage from flood or fire.
